The series « Sonora » is a visual tale about childhood, running away, and freedom, where nature and childhood are linked in such way that the imaginary worlds of children are influenced by the nature that surrounds them.

Half-documentary about my own children and half-fiction about childhood, my work aims to feel the sense of freedom—children play outdoors all day long and make up their own world, reminiscent of Michel Tournier’s Friday and Robinson or Wes Anderson’s Moonrise Kingdom.
